Christian Perspectives - Seek God With Passion When Your Soul Thirsts

Seek God With Passion When Your Soul Thirsts

Greetings Reader

I have experienced thirst, but never in a hot, dry desert. King David did as reported in Psalm 63. He told God that his whole being, body and soul, longed for Him, in a dry and parched land where there was no water. This Psalm directs us to deeper intimacy with God. It reveals His sustaining power and calls us to worship Him even in the dry and weary seasons of our lives.

David directs us to seek God earnestly, remember His glory, find satisfaction in His love, meditate in the night, and cling to God's hand. Enjoy today's devotion.

God Bless

Robin

As humans, we must lead in answering God's call to worship Him. The Psalmist says the earth, the creatures of the ocean depths, fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather obey him. The mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals...

Our Freedom In Christ, Living With Responsible Love Greetings Reader The Apostle Paul taught the Corinthian believers to use their Christian freedom responsibly. His message pointed to, in the name of Christian maturity, we willingly surrender a freedom or right because of our love for Christ. Through that act, God will strengthen us and deepen our unity in the body of Christ. The bottom line is, we want to guard against causing others to stumble while walking in the love and grace of our...

Our Rock And Salvation Provides An Unshakable Hope Greetings Reader When David wrote Psalm 62, he faced betrayal, opposition, and the weight of leadership. Even amidst the turmoil, his heart remained anchored not in strategies or alliances, but in God alone. We see that in scripture, but how often do we put it into practice? What am I talking about? Consider the speed of life; it rarely slows down for any of us. The pressures mount, uncertainty lingers, and our strength falters. Look what...
