Cry Out To The Lord For Mercy And ProtectionGreetings Reader Psalm 140 reminds us that when opposition comes, our first response should not be fear, bitterness, or revenge. It should be prayer. David faced enemies who attacked with lies, manipulation, and violence. Instead of taking matters into his own hands, he cried out to the Lord for mercy and protection. He trusted God to defend him and to bring justice in His perfect time. We face many of the same battles today. Sometimes the attacks come through words, false accusations, difficult relationships, or spiritual opposition. Psalm 140 reminds us that God hears our cries and remains our refuge.
