Christian Perspectives - How To Be Right With God

How To Be Right With God

Greetings Reader

One day, at the right time, God will end everything as we know it. Many will spend eternity in Heaven with Him, but sadly, many, many more won't. Who will go where? When writing to the Roman Church, the Apostle Paul quoted Isaiah, who said, "Though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the seashore, only a remnant will be saved."

Recently we had the carpet replaced in our house. Upon finishing the job, the installers left us with a small piece of leftover carpet, a remnant. Unless you need it to replace a damaged spot in your new carpet, the remnant often just gets in the way. The remnant of God, though, isn't His leftover people, nor do they get in the way. His remnant is the choice piece because it is made up of those who have chosen to follow Christ. Enjoy today's post.

God Bless

Robin
