Restore Us Again And Revive Your PeopleGreetings Reader Tomorrow is the 250th birthday of our country. Our celebration should include the prayer the Psalmist started Psalm 85 with. Many of us will be able to identify with this Psalm. We know that the Lord is the source of our salvation, but sometimes our lives and our country don't reflect that. Even though this Psalm points to Israel, it also includes our homeland and Christians. The Psalmist said in verse 1, Lord, you poured out blessings on your land! You restored the fortunes of Israel. Like us, the Israelites had some bumps along the way, so in the next few verses, he pleaded to God.
He restores and revives us with His unfailing love, which adds up to renewal. I'd also like to see renewal and revival throughout our land. Enjoy today's devotion. God Bless Robin

Jesus Became Our Ultimate Sacrifice Greetings Reader What qualifies Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice for all eternity? Our verse for today sheds some light on that answer. It says that with His own blood He entered the Holy of Holies and secured our salvation. In the Old Testament, except for the few people that God spoke directly to, the Holy of Holies was the closest anyone could get to God. But only the High Priest could enter into His presence and only after he was cleansed and made a...
Rely On God’s Guidance When Your Life Gets Hard Greetings Reader Life’s hard seasons seldom announce themselves politely. When they come upon you, what do you do? David pleaded for God’s intervention and guidance when darkness felt so close it choked his hope. In his plea, he did two specific things. In the first part of Psalm 143, he reminded God and possibly himself of his experiences with the Lord. In the second half of this Psalm, he cried out to the Lord for help. David laid out a...
