When Jesus Returns And Reveals His GloryGreetings Reader The Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians that two major things will happen when Jesus returns. First, all those who obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus will be ushered into the presence of the Lord for eternity with the following perk. And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. 2 Thessalonians 1:7 The other major thing that will happen affects those who have rejected Jesus, which includes eternal separation from the Lord. He will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 This portion of scripture offers good news for Christians and a mandate for Christians to reach those headed toward judgment.
