His words invite us to step off the exhausting treadmill of self-reliance and learn the beauty of simple faith. Lord, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I don’t concern myself with matters too great or too awesome for me to grasp. We live in a complicated world that constantly tells us we need to understand everything, control everything, and have an answer for everything.
